Fifty Years of Choosing Quality First, Always.
De Burgh’s began with a simple frustration, quality shoes were hard to find, and even harder to find ones that truly lasted.
Founder Ken de Burgh started selling shoes in Perth in 1965. After two decades inside a large department store, he knew there was a better way to serve customers who cared about craftsmanship, comfort, and style that stood the test of time. In 1986, he opened de Burgh’s as a boutique men’s shoe store, starting with just 15 carefully selected brands.
Over the decades, that range grew to more than 25 makers, each chosen for their materials, construction, and longevity. Today, de Burgh’s remains one of the few specialist men’s shoe boutiques in Australia, built on the belief that well made shoes never go out of fashion.
More than 50 years on, the philosophy has not changed.
Quality first, always.
